Grayson Cox & Bradford Devins, Self Checkout Chair [Pyre], 6 min
Pyre is a short film by Grayson Cox and Bradford Devins. In the early spring of 2026, on the Shawangunk Ridge, they met before dawn to burn Cox’s sculpture Self Check Out (chair), and the fire carried into the morning. The film grew out of their conversations and their shared process of looking, talking, and shaping the footage collaboratively.
